‘Supernatural’ Season 12 Spoilers: Showrunner Teases Mr. Ketch's Evil Plans For Winchester Brothers
Avid "Supernatural" Season 12 fans witnessed how Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) decided to partner with the British Men of Letters after their mother Mary (Samantha Smith) joined the said organization. However, Mr. Ketch (David Haydn-Jones) will soon complicate the Winchesters' affiliation with the said group when Mary begins to suspect that something is amiss.
When Mary unveiled her affiliation with the British Men of Letters to Sam and Dean, the Winchester matriarch begrudgingly gained the support of her two sons as they gave the said organization a chance to disprove their earlier assessment. Mary also gained the admiration of the group's Mr. Ketch given her skills in "Supernatural" Season 12.
Many viewers even speculated that Mr. Ketch might be developing romantic feelings for Mary. However, "Supernatural" Season 12 showrunner Andrew Dabb told TVLine that regardless of his feelings for Sam and Dean's mother, he will soon unveil his ruthless side. Given the said character's intense training with the British Men of Letters where he was conditioned to blindly follow orders, Mr. Ketch will find it difficult to take a stand against the said organization
Mr. Ketch's training will also push him to get rid of Sam and Dean should the British Men of Letters decide that the two brothers have already served their purpose or became more troublesome in "Supernatural" Season 12, according to the showrunner. Dabb teased that there may be a possibility for the said character to do a reversal, but it will represent a "drastic change" to Mr. Ketch's personality.
In other news, the upcoming "Supernatural" Season 12 episode 20 will feature Mary's dawning realization that something is wrong about the British Men of Letters' hunting methodology. Titled "Twigs & Twine & Tasha Banes," the promo clip posted on Spoilers Guide showed Sam and Dean's mother confronting Mr. Ketch about her suspicions but the encounter might jeopardize Mary's life.
