Avid Lee Kwang Soo fans will soon see the said South Korean actor in a new movie. The "Running Man" cast member has signed-up to join the sequel to Kwon Sang Woo and Sung Dong Il's hit 2015 movie, "Accidental Detective."

Lee Kwang Soo will showcase his acting talent in the upcoming action comedy film "Accidental Detective 2." The "Running Man" cast member is set to portray a character that moviegoers did not see in the first film, according to All Kpop. However, the details of the said celebrity's role were not disclosed.

In the first installment of the said film, "Queen of Mystery" actor Kwon Sang Woo played the crime enthusiast Dae Man. The said character partnered with his detective friend Tae Soo, played by the "Legend of the Blue Sea" star Sung Dong Il, to solve a series of murder cases. In the upcoming "Accidental Detective 2," the said two celebrities have agreed to reprise their roles in a new adventure with Lee Kwang Soo's character.

Meanwhile, the upcoming movie "Accidental Detective 2" will mark Lee Kwang Soo's big screen comeback. The "Running Man" cast member was last seen in the film "Collective Invention" that was released in 2015.

In other news, Lee Kwang Soo and his fellow "Running Man" stars recently welcomed Yang Se Chan and Jun So Min as the SBS variety show's new cast members. To celebrate the said celebrities' addition to the program, the production team prepared a three-country challenge where cast members were tasked to complete various missions in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.

Recently, several netizens highlighted that Lee Kwang Soo and Kim Jong Kook have less screen time since Jun So Min and Yang Se Chan joined the variety program, Soompi reported. Avid fans stated that the "Running Man" episode that aired on April 23 showed more scenes of Jun So Min and featured very little shots of the two veteran cast member's adventures in Jeju.

"Running Man" airs every Sunday on SBS. Watch a clip that showed Lee Kwang Soo and Jun So Min's interactions on the show below:
