Lee Dong Gun is joining KBS 2TV's new drama "The Seven-Day Queen," making the main lead casting complete. That said, the actor will work alongside other casts like Yeon Woo Jin and Park Min Young in the upcoming drama led by director Lee Jung Seob. Meantime, "The Seven-Day Queen" is the new historical drama, which tackles the reign of Queen Dan Kyung, who only remained kept the throne for a short time.
Meantime, Lee Dong Gun plays the character of the 10th king of Joseon, Lee Yoong, whose character is a sad king who finds it hard to win the heart of the woman he loves. In this drama, Lee Dong Gun is expected to show a variety of emotions like madness, obsession, and love. Meanwhile, Yeon Woo Jin is set to play the role of Prince Lee Yeok, the half brother of Lee Yoong, and would drive out his older brother to sit on the throne, Soompi reported.
