In the previous episode of "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD," Daisy received the Terrigen crystal from May as Daisy's transformation into an inhuman is needed for them to get out of Triskelion and bring down Hydra. Patriot sacrificed his life last week and Ming-Na Wen, who plays May and Chloe Bennet, who plays Daisy spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the new episode.
Wen told Entertainment Weekly that after Patriot's sacrifice, May realized that all of it may not be what it looks like. "Some of May's subconscious did come into play in making that rapid change for Hydra May to go, 'I think I might be on the wrong side right now, and I have to make it right.'" In "Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD" Season 4, Episode 19, the unlikely ally that teams up with Daisy is May. During the interview, Bennet said that Daisy is a powerful character but she still needs to trust May.
