Activision has finally revealed what's going to be next big thing for "Call of Duty." The game will notably be back to its 2003's WWII beginning. Everything about the highly anticipated "Call of Duty: WWII" will be revealed this April 26 on a live stream. Find out more about it now.

According to Inverse, the Activision's plan "back to its roots" for "Call of Duty" is now officially announced. It was just released yesterday along with huge reveal news to happen next week. The game's official site drop the news along with a photo of a US soldier with WWII helmet as a teaser.

As of now, no other updates has been given about "Call of Duty: WWII" aside from the released blog statement. It said that roots of the game will be its theme. For more updates, the gamers will still need to wait for its incredible unveiling on the "Worldwide Reveal."

The big challenge that "Call of Duty: WWII" will face today is the big dislike of most gamers to "Infinite Warfare." Supposedly, the fans didn't like much the last zombie wars on space as its theme.

The Verge discussed on a report quoting Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg that "Infinite Warfare" gameplay innovations didn't appeal much to its gamers. It was the problem that the company needed to address on the "Call of Duty: WWII."

Activision hopes that "Call of Duty: WWII" will bring back the gamers to the military shooter series. Though, no one knows yet how the company will pull it off. This is what everyone should wait on its official confirmation.

Meanwhile, Sledgehammer is once again the developer of "Call of Duty: WWII." To take note, it was also the creator behind Modern Warfare 3 and 2014's Advanced Warfare. Remarkably, the new one will be its third installment now with Activision.
