"The Leftovers" Season 3 opened last week with the return of its ensemble cast featuring Christopher Eccleston (Matt Jamison), Justin Theroux (Kevin Garvey), Amy Brenneman (Laurie Garvey), Liv Tyler (Megan), Carrie Coon (Nora Durst), Kevin Carroll (John Murphy). The premiere featured a unspecified time-jump in the series and viewers got a glimpse of aged Nora and others.

In "The Leftovers" Season 3, Episode 2, Nora gets into action and as a fraud investigator, she takes a trip to St. Louis. She is here to delve deeper into a scam that targets family members of The Departed. In an attempt to fool them, scammers try to convince the victims of Sudden Departure that they can meet their lost loved ones again.

"In her official capacity as fraud investigator for the Department of Sudden Departure (D.S.D.), Nora (Carrie Coon) travels to St. Louis to investigate a possible scam that involves convincing the family members of The Departed there's a way to see their loved ones again," reads the official synopsis for "The Leftovers" Season 3, Episode 2 as on Spoiler TV. The Episode titled "Don't Be Ridiculous" was written by Damon Lindelof & Tom Perrotta and directed by Keith Gordon.

The latest promo video for "The Leftovers" Season 3 teases the events of Episode 2 and the remainder of the season. Nora announces she is leaving for Australia as she is seen packing in the opening scene of the trailer. In addition, the sneak peak gives a glimpse of the episodes airing in weeks ahead.
