‘Legend Of The Blue Sea’ Actress Jun Ji Hyun Among Wealthiest Celebrity Real Estate Moguls, Beats Rain, Jang Geun Suk
Jun Ji Hyun is one of the most successful actresses in South Korea's entertainment industry. Recently, the "Legend of the Blue Sea" star was identified as one of the said Asian country's wealthiest real estate celebrity moguls, besting famous entertainer Rain, Jang Geun Suk, Kwon Sang Woo and others.
The "Legend of the Blue Sea" actress was the only female star that made it to the Top 10 list of richest celebrities in terms of real estate assets. Jun Ji Hyun landed at second place, according to a celebrity property investment and holdings chart unveiled during an episode of SBS's "Night of Real Entertainment" program, as cited by Soompi.
Aired on April 18, Tuesday, the show unveiled Jun Ji Hyun's 77 billion won ($67.7 million) real estate assets. The actress even surpassed YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk's property investments who landed the third spot on the said list given his more than 53 billion won ($46 million) property holding. At first place is SM Entertainment's Lee Soo Man with 110 billion won ($96.6 million) worth of real estate assets.
Apart from Jun Ji Hyun, other celebrities who made it the list includes the Kpop icon Rain who nabbed the fourth spot with his 43.8 billion won ($38.5 million) property investments, while singer Seo Taiji and "You're Beautiful" star Jang Geun Suk came in at fifth and sixth place, with real estate assets of 41 billion won ($36 million) and 38 billion won ($33.4 million), respectively. "Punch" star Jo Jae Hyun landed at seventh place followed by "Queen of Mystery" actor Kwon Sang Woo, Song Seung Hun and former athlete turned entertainer Seo Jang Hoon.
In other news, Jun Ji Hyun's recent real estate cash purchase caught the attention of avid fans and critics. The actress closed the deal on a 32.5 billion won ($28.5 million) building located in Seoul's Gangnam area, Korean news outlet Insight reported.
Jun Ji Hyun last appeared in the fantasy mermaid series "Legend of the Blue Sea." The said SBS series aired from mid-November 2016 until end January on SBS.
