‘Supergirl’ Season 2, Episodes 18 & 19 Spoilers: Alex’s Kidnapper Wants Supergirl To Release A Notorious Criminal From Prison

"Supergirl" is set to return after spring hiatus with brand new episodes from Apr. 24. Before the airing of the episodes, we have fresh spoilers from "Supergirl" Season 2, Episode 19 entitled "Alex."

According to the official synopsis for "Supergirl" Season 2, Episode 19, Alex is abducted and the kidnapper wants Supergirl releases a dangerous criminal from prison. If his demands are not met, he will kill Alex. Maggie and Supergirl have different ways to deal with situations, but this time they will have to work together and bring back Alex safely. Meanwhile, Lena gets an interesting proposal from Rhea.

TVLine spoke with Melissa Benoist and Floriana Lima about the Alex situation in "Supergirl" Season 2, Episode 19. Lima said that both Kara and Alex have strong feelings for Alex. "They both have such strong feelings for Alex, and they're both strong opinionated women who really are passionate about their work," Lima stated. Benoist stated that in the episode, they will "butt heads a little bit." "They don't necessarily agree on how to deal with the fact that the person that's the most important to both of them is missing and in danger."

Meanwhile, in "Supergirl" Season 2, Episode 18, Lena's former boyfriend Jack Spheer arrives at National City to showcase his breakthrough in nano-technology, which can eradicate any disease. Lena wants Kara to attend the conference with her. Kara sees Snapper at the conference and wants to get back to her reporter mode by questioning Jack about his discovery. However, it leads to a bigger investigation that can put the lives of others at risk.
