Google is Going to Compete with LinkedIn With Its ‘Hire’- A New Platform For Recruiters
Every recruiter has to manage lots of job applications and segregating them into different categories. Google is working on a new project called Hire in order to provide some ease to the recruiters. Although it is still unclear when it will officially launch the tool, the tech giant is currently testing the project.
Reports are coming from Axios, that Google is currently testing a new project called Hire to tackle the task of managing job applications for the recruiters. The tool is currently being used by different companies like Medisas, Poynt, DramaFever and many others to accept applications for their vacancies. The tool is built by Bebop which is an enterprise application development team which was acquired by Google in 2015.
You can check out the first glimpse of the website here. The login page seems interesting, but the features offered by the tool are hard to describe. With the Hire, Google might be giving a tough competition to current trending tools like Indeed, LinkedIn and Greenhouse. Or it can be said that the company might overtake the current professional networking giants.
It can be expected that the latest tool by Google, Hire will offer its users to post job listings, then accept and manage their applications according to their job listings. So far, tech companies are taking a great opportunity for using the tool and providing their feedback.
Hire is the latest venture from a new category to emerge from Google's Stables, as reported by The next web. Besides Hire, Google has just launched Areo, an aggregator for food delivery and home maintenance services in India. Google has meant to incorporate ease in the lifestyle of its users.
Previously, Google has released a video conferencing app for business users called Meet. The app is really a successful one as it facilitates the meetings in the easiest and the most effective ways.
