‘Designated Survivor’ Season 1, Episode 17 Spoilers: Agent Hannah Wells Goes Undercover To Discover A Shocker

According to "Designated Survivor" Season 1, Episode 17's synopsis, President Tom Kirkman has enlisted Agent Hannah Wells to dismantle the conspiracy and bring the people responsible for the Capitol bombing to justice. As Agent Wells goes undercover, she discovers much more than what is expected.
Meanwhile, President Kirkman is consolidating the new Supreme Court. However, it is not that easy as Senator Jack Bowman questions President Kirkman's choice of the chief justice for Supreme Court.
Elsewhere, in other "Designated Survivor" news, a major gun control group called The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence told The Washington Free Beacon that they gave a presentation to the team about gun control. Brendan Kelly, spokesman for the group stated that they are happy how the show has present the issue.
"We hope integrating this issue into storylines can help facilitate more conversation about the everyday gun violence that kills 33,000 Americans a year and shine a spotlight on the sensible steps politicians and gun owners alike can take to help bring that number down," Kelly said.
"For us, it's about changing social norms and rethinking the way we talk about guns. Of course we appreciate when the issue is reflected as accurately as possible, recognizing creative liberties can and often are taken in entertainment. We think Designated Survivor really nailed it on that front," he added.
