Thanks To Fans, EXO's Sehun Gets Highland Estate On His Birthday; EXO Maknae Receives Title Of Lord Oh Sehun Of Glencoe
Ever wondered what EXO's Sehun would look like in a kilt? The idea may not be too farfetched anymore as Chinese fans recently purchased an estate and lordship in his name as a birthday gift for the K-pop maknae.
For their latest fan project, EXO-Ls, the official fandom of K-pop group EXO proved that they may well deserve the title of most creative and generous fandom. A report by Koreaboo said that the Chinese fansite Warmwind spearheaded the campaign too but a piece of property in the Scottish Highlands which comes with a title of nobility for its owner - in this case, Oh Sehun.
Based on the deed posted by Warmwind on its twitter site, the group purchased the property connected to Glencoe Wood, Kein Hill which is part of the Glencoe Estate. The ownership of the property automatically bestows upon the owner the lordship of Lorne. This makes EXO's Sehun Lord Oh Sehun, making him the first K-pop idol to have such a title.
But that's not all, as EXO fans are known for sparing no expense for EXO members. For Sehun's birthday, Warmwind also made sure to purchase a birthday support ad in one of London's busiest sections to celebrate his birthday.
Just recently, EXO-Ls from all over the world pooled their resources to rent 11 billboard signages in New York's Times Square to share their love for EXO on the occasion of their fifth debut anniversary. The signages included the giant Reuters billboard in the heart of Times Square which features photos and videos of EXO members along with a congratulatory message for the K-pop idols, Korea Portal reported.
The signages bore messages of love in Korean, English, and Chinese to showcase the unity of EXO-Ls all over the world in supporting EXO. The Times Square project, according to EXO Baidu Bar, was intended to bring the world's attention to the talent and achievements of EXO on a global scale.
