iOS 10.3.2 Beta: No Significant Improvement Found? iOS 10.3.1 Updates iPad, iPhone Security

iOS 10.3.2 update for developers has been seeded by Apple via the second beta, two weeks following the seeding of the initial iOS 10.3.2 beta and the introduction of the new iOS 10.3 that came with new features like Find My AirPods and Apple File System. Meantime, the tech giant has also released a minor iOS 10.3.1 update that deals with security improvements.

iOS 10.3.2 Beta Is Now Downloadable For Developers

The iOS 10.3.2 beta is now available for download for registered developers through the Apple Developer Center or over-the-air with the correct configuration profile installed. However, the features or improvements that are coming with iOS 10.3.2 are not clear yet as Apple has not given the detailed release notes yet, aside from the fact that nothing significant was found in the initial iOS 10.3.2 update.

Nevertheless, reports suggest that iOS 10.3.2 will provide bug fixes, including performance improvements instead of just outward-facing features as a minor update. Meantime, Apple has announced that the update was able to fix SiriKit car commands that must be working as expected, MacRumors reported.

iOS 10.3.1 Comes With Bug Fixes And Security Improvement On iPad And iPhone

While the release notes for iOS 10.3.1 does not detail the fixes that were not addressed in its update released recently, reports suggest that the update comes with bug fixes and improvement in the security of iPad and iPhone. Specifically, the 10.3.1 update looks into a buffer overflow, which may be exploited to implement code on the phone or tablet's WiFi chip. According to reports, the bug could be credited to Google's Project Zero that discloses bugs to the public after 90 days since telling the companies regarding them to promote faster security patches, ARSTechnica reported.
