After parting ways with WINNER last year due to health issues, Nam Tae Hyun has set up his own label South Buyers Club where he is expected to continue his music activities.

The former main vocalist for WINNER and YG Entertainment announced last year the decision that Nam Tae Hyun will no longer be part of the K-pop group since he was still recovering from mental health issues due to stress. He also personally reached out to the fans on social media and explained that he will do his best to recover quickly and promised that it will not be the end of his music career, Soompi reported.

In a new post, Nam Tae Hyun explained that he set up his own label despite being approached by several agencies because he wanted to promote according to his will. The former WINNER member also reportedly started his own band South Club and the new label is intended to facilitate Nam Tae Hyun's activities from creating music to promotion.

It can be recalled that WINNER's remaining members Mino, Seungyoon, Seung Hoon and Jinwoo recently released their comeback album Fate Number For as well as the MVs for their title track "Really Really" and "Fool". The comeback was well received by K-pop fans who propelled the album to the top of the iTunes charts in 12 countries upon its release.

WINNER members also opened up about their decision to push through with the comeback despite the departure of Nam Tae Hyun. According to Seungyoon, it was a difficult decision for the group to go ahead without their main vocalist because they feared losing the support of fans because of losing Nam Tae Hyun, Kpopstarz reported.

However, they said that the remaining members worked really hard to overcome the difficulty and stepped up to make sure that fans will not feel like there is an empty spot.  "We worked hard to improve our individual skills so that fans wouldn't feel like there's an empty spot. We had no choice but to become better," Seung Yoon said.
