‘Designated Survivor’ Season 1, Episode 16 Sneak Peek, Spoilers: Kimble Hookstraten Can Help The President Pass The Bill
The 2nd Amendment Right issue is becoming a problem for President Tom Kirkman. After the First Lady's statement about gun violence, Senator Jack Bowman has come on the forefront to attack the President. The sneak peek video for "Designated Survivor" Season 1, Episode 16 is out.

The latest sneak peek for "Designated Survivor" Season 1, Episode 16 shows Senator Jack Bowman talking on a news show about the possible attack on the 2nd Amendment. "I brought this bill out of committee to the senate floor to show The White House that any effort to interfere in the free exercise of the American 2nd Amendment Rights will fail," Bowman says in the sneak peek.
He goes on the call the First Lady's statement about bringing forward the victims of gun violence as a blatant PR stunt. President Kirkman watches Bowman's statements on the TV and Speaker of the House Hookstraten arrives in the Oval office.
"I know you have got a senate vote coming up fast, so I won't take much of your time. What I came to tell you is that with a proper encouragement, I think a few moderate Republicans might just vote yes," Hookstraten says. But, President Kirkman wants to know what kind of encouragement are they talking about.
In other "Designated Survivor" news, according to Hollywood Reporter, Jeff Melvoin is being replaced as the showrunner. The show is looking for new showrunner to handle the duties for the second season of "Designated Survivor."
