'One Punch Man' Season 2 Could Debut In July
Now that production of "One Punch Man" season 2 is already confirmed. Some suggests that its release date could be in July as the hit anime series would be celebrating its second anniversary by that time.
The confirmation of production for "One Punch Man" season 2 was posted by Ken Xyro in Twitter via a scanned image of an advertisement of the said anime. It took a while before production was confirmed. Although a second season was already announced during the Wanpan Fall Festival, follow-up news regarding its production did not appear until this week.
With the confirmation that the series is continuing, fans are now suggesting "One Punch Man" season 2 could be released in July, Geek reported. The prediction was patterned after the anime's first debut in July 2015. It would be timely if production decides to air it this upcoming July since "One Punch Man" will be celebrating its second anniversary.
"One Punch Man" follows the story of Saitama who has an enormous punching power. With only one punch, Saitama can knock his opponent out. His power is a result of disciplined exercise comprised of 100 push-ups, 100 squats, 100 sit-ups and a 10-km run he does everyday.
Aside from its confirmed production and potential release date, spoilers for "One Punch Man" are already circulating online. Some suggests that Saitama will be facing returning and new villains like Garou who can hold off Saitama's punch.
The upcoming nemesis is a former student of Silverfang and does not wear any kind of protective equipment. With Garou being potentially a match for Saitama's power, he may be one of those characters anticipated to give Saitama a difficult fight.
