‘Overwatch: Uprising’ Comics, Tells The Story About King’s Row Uprising

Blizzard released a comic based on their popular "Overwatch" game. The comic were titled "Uprising" which is set seven years in the past and tells the story of some of the original team members up for one of their most difficult fights, the King's Row uprising.

According to reports, the "Uprising" comic comes a few days after Blizzard's recent tease for an upcoming event which expected to set on April 11, 2017. Also, it's been a few months since the game last event, the Lunar New Year, and it's reasonable to expect that that date likely points to a new "Overwatch" seasonal event.

In the introduction of the "Overwatch: Uprising" comics, it says, "Seven years into Overwatch's past, on the eve of a historic peace accord. King's Row is seized by an extremist faction of robots known as Null Sector."

The story started when the British government forbids the Overwatch from interceding. The Strike Commander, Jack Morrison, also known as the Soldier 76, must decide whether to disobey the orders or stand by while thousands of lives are in peril.

Also, there is a part when Morrison must also decide whether to authorize new Overwatch recruit Lena Oxton, also known as Tracer, for active duty. The "Uprising" comics gives plenty glimpse at Tracer's past, including her training with Genji, as well as her imploring Morrison to send Overwatch into King's Row, her home

Other familiar heroes who are shown in the "Overwatch; Uprising" comics includes Mercy, Torbjörn, Ana, Reinhardt, McCree, Reaper, and Winston. All of them show up in their classic uniforms, which some speculations suggest a hint of upcoming new character skin.
