In the gritty teen series' ninth installment, Archie agrees to go to Cheryl's family's official start of the maple syrup tapping. However, he has an ulterior motive and he could get intel from the event.
"Riverdale" Season 1, Episode 9 entitled "La Grande Illusion" shows Archie getting suspicious about the Blossoms as he wonders why they are so enthusiastic about helping him. Meanwhile, Archie would get some useful information about Betty's sister during the episode. Watch the episode online, here.
Elsewhere, Hermione is struggling with telling the truth to Fred. How will Fred react? The episode also shows Alice planning to seek revenge on the Blossoms and she asks her two daughters to implement her plan. In other "Riverdale" Season 1 news, Molly Ringwald has been roped in to portray Archie's mom Mary, noted Yahoo TV. She will be first seen in "Riverdale" Season 1, Episode 10 entitled "The Lost Weekend." Mary comes to Riverdale to talk and finalize the divorce with Fred and Archie is not happy about it. We can expect fireworks when Mary comes to town. It will be interesting to see her dynamics with Archie and Fred.
