President Donald Trump has announced that the US government will act unilaterally on the issue of the North Korean nuclear threat. This announcement seems to preempt the forthcoming meeting between the US and the Chinese government.

Trump Vows To Solve North Korea If China Refuses To Act

According to Trump, the US government is going to deal with the North Korea nuclear threat issue alone if China does not make any move. Incidentally, the president is scheduled to host Chinese President Xi Jinping at his Mar-a-Lago estate in South Florida. Trump and the Chinese president are expected to talk about several issues, including territorial disputes in the South China Sea and the North Korean trade on Thursday and Friday.

Although the US could entirely deal with the issue without China's help, Trump believes that the trade was China's initiate to work with the US government. However, China has previously claimed that the country's influence over North Korea is only limited and that the Chinese government could only provide economic and diplomatic support to its neighbors.

The POTUS' relationship with China, meantime, has not been clear since the election. It should be noted that during the campaign period, Mr. Trump accused China of unfair trade, even threatening to raise the import taxes on the Chinese goods as well as declare Beijing as a currency manipulator. However, it remains unclear if the US president will pursue with either threat, ABC reported.

Trump May Have Likely Incited Violence

President Trump's supporters would be facing a lawsuit, as three protesters move ahead to file the cases against them for an alleged attack during a Kentucky rally last year. Although US District Judge David Hale has ruled out the idea that the attackers were Trump's agents, the judge believes that the president may have incited a riot. Meantime, the defendant's motions to dismiss portions of the complaint were denied, Edition.CNN reported. Check out What US-President Elect Donald Trump Said To North Korea here:
