Snapchat launced Story Search Feature Overtaking Facebook; The Game is On

After being overtaking by Facebook, Snapchat just unveiled the latest feature that its rivals don't have. The company has introduced a story search feature in order to strengthen its roots in visual communication. The new story search feature might be helpful for the company to survive the cut-throat competition offering by Facebook and Instagram.

With the new story search feature, snap chatters can now search specific locations, events, and words in order to find snaps of those things. For example, if the user searched for a specific concert, he will be able to see snaps of others take for the same concert. If the user wants to see puppies, he will be able to see public stories about puppies.

That's a cool feature that every Snapchatter wants to use. You don't have to worry before snapping, as your snaps will not be automatically available to searches. They will have to be put in our story for Snapchat. The Snapchat user can contribute to the Snpachat collaborative story in order to be found by other users.

Nowadays, Snapchat is facing a challenge as Facebook has put it politely and co-opted some of its most famous features. Facebook and Instagram stories are almost identical to Snapchat. But now Snapchat is letting users search for relevant stories which are making the users more likely to turn to Snapchat.

When the users want live videos of their favorite concert of things, they can easily search and enjoy their favorite concert through their app. This is a plus point for Snapchat users.
