‘Seo In Guk’s One Day Before Enlistment’ Released As Gift To Fans
Singer-actor Seo In Guk left a surprise gift for fans as he enlisted in the military. His video "Seo In Guk's One Day Before Enlistment" finally came out Friday. This way, fans have something to hold on to whenever they miss the "Reply 1997" star.
The 29-year-old's management label Jellyfish Entertainment released the VCR clip "Seo In Guk's One Day Before Enlistment" a few days after he entered the military Tuesday. The clip run for about 11 minutes and captured the star on a one-day road trip. According to allkpop, Seo In Guk came up with the idea of the video and even actively participated from the planning stage, scripting and props just to name a few.
"Seo In Guk's One Day Before Enlistment" was first shown to fans during the star's year-end concert "Mint Chocolate" last year. In addition to the VCR clip, the "Shopaholic Louis" actor also dropped Monday the music video of his self-composed song "Better Together" dedicated for his fans. The "Mint Chocolate" concert audience had the privilege to hear the song for the first time when he performed it onstage.
Seo In Guk chose to enter the military quietly just as he had expressed in an interview with Star News last year. He had also revealed that he's planning on several things to leave fans with before he enlists. "However, I think fans will be sad if I don't do anything before enlisting," Soompi quoted him as saying.
The "Superstar K" 2009 winner headed to the Yeoncheon County's 5th division in Gyeonggi Province for his five-week basic military training. He underwent physical examination last year and was drafted as an active duty soldier. A friend of the singer-actor shared Tuesday on Instagram a screenshot of Seo In Guk sporting a military buzz cut. He will be back from the military in December next year.
