'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Spoilers: Who Will Die And Who Will Survive In The Season Finale?
In less than a week, "The Walking Dead Season 7" will air its explosive season finale and with all the plotting that was made against Negan and the saviors by the combined forces of Alexandria, The Hilltop Colony, The Scavengers, The Kingdom and the weapons of Oceanside, fans are expecting a lot of action in the final episode.
Fans are even anticipating a lot of deaths to happen with the show's high turnover rate. And with the brutal beginning to "The Walking Dead Season 7" where two main characters - Abraham and Glenn getting killed off via Negan's Lucille, everyone seems to be fair game in the finale. Crave Online came up with some possible casualties in the season finale.
According to the site, Carl may be put in danger and even die in "The Walking Dead Season 7" finale. In real life, actor Chandler Riggs, who plays Carl is about to enter university which may lead to possible conflicts plus he's almost died a couple of times in the TV series already. He may run out of luck this time around. It bears mentioning however that his comic book counterpart is very much alive.
Sasha and Rosita are also top choices to bite the dust at "The Walking Dead Season 7" finale after several episodes showing just how the two women were itching to die just to get revenge for Abraham's death. Sonequa Martin-Green has also been cast in the lead of CBS:All Access' latest Star Trek franchise Star Trek: Discovery and a major project like this could eat up a lot of her time for filming the AMC series.
The traitor Gregory may also be vulnerable in "The Walking Dead Season 7" finale after it was made clear that despite his betrayal of Rick and the other communities, Simon is not such a big fan of Hilltop's resident leader. It also bears to note that the comic book version of Rick also lost one of his hands. It was already teased in the season premiere when Negan wanted him to chop it off but showrunners said that having this happen would not be advisable from a production standpoint. Still, Hershel lost a leg and it worked out for the series pretty well so Rick's hand is still not 100 percent safe.
Meanwhile, a report by The Hollywood Reporter hints that the show may be deviating from the comic books in "The Walking Dead Season 7" finale. It cited Holly's death during her captivity with the Saviors which has not yet happened. Eugene's loyalty to Rick in the comics is also changed in the series where the penultimate episode of "The Walking Dead Season 7" showed him choosing to side with Negan to stay safe. Dwight's allegiance will also be called to question but his comic book counterpart was solidly for Rick.
