‘Dark Souls 3’ ‘Ringed City’ DLC Pack Launched, But Came With Downtime Schedule
"Dark Souls 3's" next update, version 1.11, brings additional PlayStation 4 Pro support, as announced by publisher Bandai Namco. Some changes will also be implemented for all players, including an increase in the game's framerate on PS4 Pro.
It is, however, unclear if the "Dark Souls 3" frame rate will be enhanced from 30fps to 60fps. Nevertheless, the community manager of the game noted that the frame rate will be variable following the PS4 Pro patch.
"Dark Souls 3's" update will also bring a number of bug fixes and two new maps to the PvP mode "Undead Match" - the Grand Roof and the Dragon Ruins. In addition, several items and weapons have also been re-balanced, including a notable buff for Heavy Weapons and Heavy Armor. Support has been added as well for the new Ringed City DLC pack, which launches for Xbox One, PS4, and the PC on March 28 for $15 or $25 with a season pass that offers access to Ashes of Ariandel, GameSpot reported.
The new "Dark Souls 3" DLC pack is expected to bring excitement to a lot of fans, with the patch being released on March 24 to make sure that the new Ringed City would be fit for the console. However, a two-hour maintenance has been set across the platforms, with Xbox One receiving the longest update, which makes it necessary for a 6-hour period to complete the update.
"Dark Souls 3" players, meanwhile, may check on the following platform downtime while the developer updates the game. For Xbox One players, the schedule will start 10 am to 4 pm: JST, 2 am to 8 am: CET and 6 pm to 12 are PDT.
