In the events following the abduction of Jane and Oliver, the show hinted that secrets from both parties will be exposed in "Blindspot" season 2 episode 17, Fan Sided reported. The report added that the revelation will mostly focus on Oliver's mysteries and not on Jane's because the latter just could not meet a normal guy. Despite this, salvation in the form of Roman (Luke Mitchell) will come to rescue Jane.
According to the description of "Blindspot" season 7 episode 17 released by NBC, Jane and her boyfriend Oliver must try to keep themselves alive while Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and his team try their best to locate and save them. It is not new for "Blindspot" fans whenever Jane gets abducted because the female protagonist was also kidnapped in the first season.
She was first kidnapped by Tom Carter in the middle of season 1 and was also held captive inside a CIA black site between season 1 and season 2. In the official trailer released by NBC, it can be seen in "Blindspot" season 2 episode 17 that the men who kidnapped Jane, Oliver and a family of four, used the former to play their games.
It is expected that Weller will be facing some conflicts on who he will choose to save among Jane, Oliver and the family. The FBI Agent will also be facing other challenges as they fail in capturing Shepherd (Michelle Hurd) and fall apart as a team in the upcoming episode.
