'Dragon Ball Super' Scenarios That Got Fans Confused And Unamused; Episode 85 To Usher In A Slimmer Majin Buu

"Dragon Ball Super" has dropped quite a number of surprises that thrilled its legion of faithfuls from all over. However, the most recent episode of the show had a revelation that got the show's fandom quite bemused.

It was during episode 83 of "Dragon Ball Super" where it was revealed to Son Goku's crew that the number of planets in Universe 7 has dwindled down to just 28 - a number that most fans did not expect. The Z-Warriors were then advised to focus on other fighters on earth as only a handful of planets in the almost lifeless system remain alive, according to Comicbook.

Such revelation got most fans confused and at the same time unimpressed considering that Universe 7 was depicted as a system full of life. Albeit being constantly bombarded in the past by the likes of Freeza and Majin Buu, faithfuls still find it impossible for it to arrive at that depressing figure.

The publication also pointed out Bulma's birth to Bulla/Bra which was deemed by some as the weirdest birth in "Dragon Ball Super" and could be in the lore's history. Such child birth got quite a reaction from fans as the angel Whis capitalized on his power to bring forth the tot in a very very unusual way.

In the interim, it looks like Universe 7's status quo in the upcoming episodes of "Dragon Ball Super" will be revealed and it does not look good for Son Goku's team. The participating universes were assessed and after learning that Universes 1, 5, 8, and 12 were among the strongest for getting a rating of seven and above, they are now spared from getting eradicated and at the same time will not be competing in the tournament. Son Goku's team got a rating of 3.18, Droid Report has learned.

Moreover, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 85 will likely to feature Son Goku exchanging blows with Majin Buu in an impromptu practice match. What made it more interesting is that the latter has shed some pounds due to his continuous training prior to the tournament while the former still has a mission in seeking Dende's help in locating the whereabouts of Android 17 who is believed to be a forest ranger and a family man.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 85 will air this April 9. In the meantime, watch a video about the anime here:
