ZE:A’s Park Hyung Sik In Talks To Record Song For ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’ OST
Park Hyung Sik has been known to lend his vocals in some of his previous drama projects. It appears that the ZE:A vocalist is also being tapped to sing a song for his JTBC drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon."
Several tracks from the "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" soundtrack featured the amazing vocals of some of South Korea's talented musicians. Apink's Jung Eun Ji and Standing Egg sang "Your Garden" and "How Would It Be," respectively, while the recently released track "Double Trouble Couple" was sung by MAMAMOO. Park Hyung Sik, the drama's lead actor, might soon join the list of artists who participated in the JTBC's soundtrack.
A source from "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" told OSEN that Park Hyung Sik's participation in the drama's OST is under discussion. Given ongoing negotiations, avid fans conveyed positive responses in potentially hearing the said ZE:A band member's voice in one of the drama's songs.
If Park Hyung Sik will agree to the said "Strong Woman Do Bong" soundtrack project, it will mark the third time that he sang a song for one of his dramas. The Kpop idol sang "You're My Love" for the 2015 drama "High Society" where he portrayed a spoiled rich young man who fell in love with a poor girl. Moreover, the singer turned actor also lent his vocals to the track "I'll Be Here," one of the songs from the KBS historical series "Hwarang."
In other news, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" has captured the interest of avid Kdrama lovers as evidenced by its strong viewership shares. Recently, Park Hyung Sik's series was identified as one of the most talked about drama shows in South Korea. The JTBC drama nabbed the second spot on the said list for the week March 20 until March 26, according to the Good Data Corporation, as cited by TV Report.
The SBS drama "Defendant" landed at first place, while "Chief Kim" came in at third place followed by "Rebel: The Thief Who Stole the People." Apart from "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," another cable channel drama made it to the list namely the tvN series "The Liar and His Lover" at fifth place.
