Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Release Date, Specs, Features, News & Update: Hybrid Arriving With Windows 10 Creators Update, Ditches Kaby Lake? [ROUNDUP]
Several techies around the world are now excited for the upcoming release of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5. Now, new reports are claiming that the tablet-cum-laptop will not be hitting the shelves until the official launching of the Windows 10 Creators Update.
As per Droid Report, the imminent Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is going to be delayed as it is planned to come out along with the Windows 10 Creators Update. According to the news outlet, the above mentioned operating system has been slated for an April 2017 release but downloading it will take some time, which means users should prolong their patience a bit longer.
DR added that the history is likely to repeat itself as the Windows 10 Creators Update is expected to be released similar to how the company rolled out a new operating system in 2016. It has been said that the launching might take place at the company's anniversary celebrations next month, which is also the predicted release of the Microsoft Surface pro 5.
"Consequently, if the release of the Anniversary Update took time to be fully released, the upcoming Windows 10 Creators Update is also expected to be released gradually as well," Droid Report has shared. "This theory suggests that the delay in the release of the new operating system," the publication added about the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5.
Meanwhile, Korea Portal has previously reported that the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is going to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 processor instead of the rumored Intel Kaby Lake chip. The imminent laptop-cum-tablet is also expected to have a better battery life with LTE connectivity.
As for its display, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is said to have a 4k display, which is expected to give the 2-in-1 tablet a high definition display. Aside from that, the device is also rumored to have a 3D display and a frame rate of 60 frames/sec.
While these reports could be true, it should be noted that no official details about the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 have been released until now; thus, fans should take everything with a grain of salt until it has been proven true and correct.
