FTISLAND's Lee Jae Jin Tapped In An Upcoming SBS Weekly TV Series; Band To Release Seventh Studio Album
FTISLAND bassist Lee Jae Jin has been tapped anew for an upcoming role in an SBS-produced South Korean weekend TV series. Such opportunity outside the band adds another highlight on his acting credentials as he too is a tenured TV actor.
An insider in SBS revealed Monday, March 20, that Jae Jin will be taking part in the upcoming weekly TV series with a working title "Sister Is Alive." Nonetheless, the informant stated that the singer/actor has not filmed his parts yet, Soompi has learned.
If the insider's leaked information is anything to go by, Jae Jin will be playing the role of a musically inclined brother-in-law of Kang Ha Ri (Kim Joo Hyun) named Na Jae Dong. Moreover, it is said that FTISLAND member will be having a love interest in the yet to be released show to be portrayed by Jin Ji Hee.
"Sister Is Alive," tells the story of three self-made sisters who will be facing life's everyday trials after the tragedy of losing someone dear to them. The weekly TV series is believed to air on April 15 at 8:45 p.m. KST.
Meanwhile, FTISLAND's staying power proves to be one of the toughest in the KPop/South Korean Rock scene as they have been around for a decade now. In addition, many critics and fans alike are now convinced that the band has surpassed what many KPop buffs call the seven-year curse where most groups' lifespan end during that mentioned time frame. In celebration of such feat, the band will be releasing their seventh studio album entitled "United Shadows" alongside its carrier single "Shadows," Kstyle reported.
The publication added that the inbound album of FTISLAND will be released on April 12 as fans are now advised to watch out for it. In the meantime, watch the music video of the band's latest single, "Shadows:"
