Gong Yoo's popularity continues to rise with the South Korean celebrity remaining at the top of a brand reputation chart. The "Goblin" actor even surpassed Hollywood star Lee Byung Hun, as well as Jo In Sung and Hyun Bin.

Gong Yoo nabbed the first place on a list that ranked the most talked about South Korean film actors and actresses for the month of March. For the period of Feb. 17 until March 17, the "Goblin" star scored 5,681,565 points, according to data from Korea Business Research Institute, as cited by Korean news outlet Donga. The said score represented a 47 percent increase from the actor's previous month's brand reputation level.

The "Train to Busan" actor's ranking also marked the third time that Gong Yoo landed on the chart's top spot. Beginning January, the said celebrity has occupied the first place among 25 film actors in the South Korean industry.

Apart from Gong Yoo, "G.I. Joe" star Lee Byung Hun also landed on the said chart's Top 10 at number two. "You Who Came From the Stars" actor Kim Soo Hyun came in at third place, followed by Jo Jin Woong and "Legend of the Blue Seas" actress Jun Ji Hyun. Meanwhile, "Secret Garden" star Hyun Bin nabbed the sixth spot, with Jung Woo Sung, "The King" actor Jo In Sung, Han Ji Min and Yoo Hae Jin at seventh to tenth places, respectively.

In other news, Gong Yoo has taken a quick break and is set to resume promotional activities in April. The actor has had a busy schedule after wrapping up the hit tvN drama "Goblin" and participating in various photoshoots.

Avid fans can expect to see the South Korean celebrity in fan meetings in the coming months. Gong Yoo's agency Management Soop shared in a recent announcement, as obtained by Yonhap News, that the actor will hold a special event in Taiwan on April 29, as well as in Hong Kong on May 5.

At this time, it is still unclear if the "Goblin" star will add more tour dates to his Asian fan meeting. Management Soop has yet to unveil Gong Yoo's planned fan activities in the coming months.
