'League of Legends' November Sales Anticipated; Details About World Championships Released!

League of Legends World Championship kicked off in London, and will end in Berlin.

The end of October is just around the corner, and that means Riot Games is set to announce the new set of champs and skin sales coming to "League of Legends" in November, according to Cinema Blend.

All the champions and skins will be on sale next month; However, like previous sales schedules, they will not post exact dates, revealed by the League of Legends website.

E-sports is a generic term for events ranging from computer-simulated tennis matches to virtual warfare, played for big prize money.

Early this month, London hosted a "League of Legends" E-Sports event. About 24,000 people were at Wembley Arena, home of English soccer, to watch teams take each other on in computer games, according to CNBC.

Players, along with their coaches, lined up on computer keyboards ready to wage virtual war. In the background, fans cheered, and some waited for their favorite players outside the Wembley Hilton Hotel.

BBC Three working with BBC sport broadcasted the world championships live.  

"We jumped at the chance to collaborate with BBC Sport and bring this massive UK event to a wider audience," said BBC Three controller Damian Kavanagh in a statement. "BBC Three will always experiment with new ways to deliver content that young people want, in ways they want.

The competiton lasted for four days in London for the quarter finals, the semi-finals  was in Brussels, and the grand finals will be held in Berlin on Oct. 31, said IBT.

The world championship tickets cost nearly 30 pounds yet 6,000 showed up each day to attend the four day tournament, according to the event organizers.

The League of Legends event was created by Riot Games. Riot has Chinese online entertainment, and media group Tencent Holdings owning majority stake.

With over 27 million people playing League of Legends, it is now one of the world's most popular video games.

As for the November sales schedules, Riot has given fans a heads up on their website. They will not offer partial refunds on champions and skins purchased before they go on sale.
