‘Riverdale’ Season 1, Episode 8 News & Update: Is Not Airing On Mar. 17

The CW has put "Riverdale" on hiatus as the show takes a break for the coming few weeks. There is no "Riverdale" Season 1, Episode 8 on Mar. 17.

The CW has a new schedule for this week and "Riverdale" Season 1, Episode 8 entitled "Chapter Eight: The Outsiders" will air on Thursday, Mar. 30. On Mar. 17, the network has repeated the Mar. 10 schedule showcasing "The Vampire Diaries" series finale, noted Heavy.

In "Riverdale" Season 1, Episode 8, Fred and his crew prepare to start the construction, but Fred loses his crew in the process. Now, his career is on the line.

Archie wants to help his dad and he asks his friends to come along and help. But, one of Archie's friends is attacked and the gang's latest plan lands them in the territory of Southside Serpent.

Meanwhile, Betty and Veronica plan a baby shower for Polly Cooper to make her feel better. However, Polly is reluctant about having the baby shower knowing what others feel. Also, "Riverdale" Season 1, Episode 8 promo suggests that Jughead's father was a Serpent.

"Riverdale" Season 1, Episode 8 stars Luke Perry, K.J. Apa, Cole Sprouse, Camile Mendes, Lili Reinhart, Tiera Skovbye, Madchen Amick, Marisol Nichols, Ashleigh Murray and Madeleine Petsch. The guest stars are Skeet Ulrich, playing the character of FP Jones (Jughead's dad) and Hayley Law, who is playing a member of Josei & The Pussycats, Valerie Brown.
