Lee Kwang Soo Parodies Jo In Sung; ‘Running Man’ Star Reenacts ‘The King’ Actor’s Scenes For New Commercial
An upcoming South Korean commercial for the international donut chain Dunkin Donuts will soon feature Lee Kwang Soo as its main star. The "Running Man" cast member even imitated some his celebrity friend Jo In Sung's iconic scenes in the movie "The King."
Lee Kwang Soo has added another endorsement deal to his professional portfolio given his partnership with Dunkin Donuts. The said donut franchise chose the "Running Man" star to serve as their newest commercial model in South Korea given his "bright and positive image," All Kpop reported.
The "Entourage" actor has even completed photo shoots and filmed a commercial ad for the said donut chain. Previews from Dunkin Donuts' upcoming commercial, as obtained by the same news site, showed Lee Kwang Soo in a few funny moments. In some of the scenes, the South Korean celebrity had a shocked expression on his face given his encounter with a gigantic twisted donut.
Given the commercial's "The Twist King 21" theme, the upcoming ad contains hints of Jo In Sung's political crime film "The King." Lee Kwang So even wore a similar attire that his celebrity friend donned in the movie. The "Running Man" star's fashionable ensemble for the Dunkin Donut commercial consisted of a dark colored suit partnered with a red necktie.
In other news, the upcoming episode of the SBS variety show "Running Man" will feature the special appearances of some of Lee Kwang Soo's friends, according to Korean news outlet TV Report. Viewers can expect to see the actor's "Entourage" co-star Park Jung Min, as well as Park Bo Gum, who were both instrumental in helping the "Sound of Your Heart" actor and Song Ji Hyo complete their mission.
The said "Running Man" episode was supposed to air on March 12 but was preempted to give way to the special broadcast of former South Korean president Park Geun Hye's removal from office. Avid viewers will instead see Lee Kwang Soo, Song Ji Hyo and other cast members' latest mission on March 19 on SBS.
