‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’ Stars Park Hyung Sik, Ji Soo, Park Bo Young Special Fan Service Delights Lucky Viewers
The romantic suspense comedy series "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" has been enjoying strong TV ratings since it aired it premiered in late February. Recently, Park Hyung Sik, Ji Soo, Park Bo Young and other cast members fulfilled a rating promise they made to avid viewers that involved two special fan events.
"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" debuted with an impressive viewership share and has since remained at the top of the TV rating race among competitor cable channel dramas. The JTBC series constantly broke its own records with several of its episodes posting ratings that surpassed previous episodes. Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young's drama even recently reached a nationwide viewership share of 8.7 percent, according to Nielsen Korea, as cited by Korean news outlet OSEN.
Given the production's steadily climbing ratings, some of the cast members of "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" rewarded three lucky viewers by escorting them on their way home. Park Bo Young, as well as Im Won Hee and Kim Min Gyu, temporarily became special bodyguards as they accompanied the said three fans during their walk home on March 8, Wednesday, according to TV Report.
The said fan service was part of the ratings promise that cast members made should the JTBC series' viewership shares hit 3 percent. Another special fan event that "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" cast members promised was for Park Hyung Sik and Ji Soo to hold a free hug event for viewers.
Scheduled on March 14, Tuesday, around 100 "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" fans were randomly selected to participate in the said event. With South Korea commemorating White Day also on the same day, Park Hyung Sik and Ji Soo's fan service made the said Valentine's Day-like holiday even more special and romantic.
