'Vitamin' Host Lee Hwi Jae Bids Emotional Goodbye to the Show

Vitamin, a South Korean health variety show, aired its final episode on March 9 after being on the air for 14 long years. The hosts, including Lee Hwi Jae and Kim Tae Hoon, bid their emotional goodbye to all who supported them throughout the years.

The show, which started in June 2003, had ben influential to the South Korean viewers. For more than a decade, Vitamin tackled different issues about how to live better and how to improve the quality of life. KBS handled the show and it might have known as a staple show to the network.

During the last episode of Vitamin, the hosts were sentimental and shared their unforgettable experiences while being on the show. Lee Hwi Jae was emotional but was also optimistic about what lies beyond the end of the variety series.

"It's an old-fashioned saying but 'Vitamin' was like family to us. It hurts but reality is, nothing lasts forever," quotes All Kpop. "We would like to thank all the viewers for their kind support. We love you," the veteran celebrity added.

Meanwhile, Kim Tae Hoon said he was happy to get to know each of them on the set of Vitamin while singer Hong Kyung Min said that "It was a healthy adventure spending quality time with everyone and eating nutritious foods." Furthermore, former hosts Jang Yoon Jung and her husband Do Kyung Wan cracked a joke about the show. 

"I told my wife to 'take it easy' when she was stressed out from work but it seems like she has to work harder now," the website quoted. The audience who watched the last episode of Vitamin in the studio cracked with laughter as well.
