‘Healer’ Actor Ji Chang Wook Considering Romantic Comedy Drama, ‘Weightlifting Fairy’ Star Lee Sung Kyung Potential Co-Star?

Avid Ji Chang Wook fans will be happy with the latest news. The "Healer" actor, along with Lee Sung Kyung, are in talks to appear in an upcoming SBS drama.

Ji Chang Wook may soon return to the small screens with a romantic suspense comedy drama tentatively titled "Be Careful of This Woman." A source from SBS told Korean news outlet OSEN that the "Healer" star is currently reviewing the casting offer.

At time, it is still unclear whether Ji Chang Wook will appear in SBS' upcoming drama "Be Careful of This Woman" or if he was offered to play the lead character. Details about the actor's potential role were not disclosed.

However, if the "The K2" actor decides to accept the role, the said production might serve as his final project before his military enlistment. Ji Chang Wook is slated to begin his mandatory army service sometime 2017 although he has yet to receive his official draft notice.

The "Healer" actor also recently made his big screen debut in the action flick "Fabricated City." The movie was even released in several U.S. locations such as Los Angeles, Dallas, New Jersey, including Canada's Toronto and Vancouver. Moreover, Ji Chang Wook's movie became of one the South Korean films that surpassed the 1 million domestic viewer mark in less than five days.

Meanwhile, Lee Sung Kyung is also in talks to star in the said SBS drama. The actress was offered to portray the leading role but have yet to confirm her participation in the upcoming production, Soompi reported.

Lee Sung Kyung recently played the titular character in the series "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo." Prior to the said drama, the actress also starred alongside Park Shin Hye, Kim Rae Won and Yoon Kyun Sang in "Doctors."

"Be Careful of This Woman" tells the story of prosecutors and apprentice legal defenders as they tackle interesting cases and personal challenges. The upcoming SBS drama is slated for a Wednesday and Thursday release.
