This week's "Modern Family" episode guest stars NBA Stars DeAndre Jordan and Charles Barkley. The NBA Stars attend the game and start to make bets, Phil tries not give in under pressure.
Official Synopsis - "Modern Family" Season 8, episode 16
"After choking at last year's charity basketball game, Phil has been training all year to redeem himself. However, when NBA stars Charles Barkley and DeAndre Jordan attend the game and start making bets, Phil tries to not buckle under the pressure. Meanwhile, Gloria has to step-up at Manny's school when her nemesis, Donna Duncan (Jane Krakowski), tries to shame her for her lack of support at the school. Finally, Claire does whatever it takes to keep a work mistake secret from Jay, while Jay's concerned that Joe doesn't have a healthy fear of him at all," reads the official synopsis.
In other "Modern Family" news, Julie Bowen spoke with ET Online about the possibilities of a renewal.
The actress said they have their fingers crossed and feel confident about the return of "Modern Family" with Season 9.
The cast has completed the filming of Season 8 and there are no deals on the table for Season 9 at the time of writing this article.
"I want to give everybody the opportunity to wrap it up the way they want to, to tell the stories. Because, it's all about stories! Whether it's one season, or two, to give them an opportunity to go to a story and wrap it up in a satisfying way, I think that that's important, and it honors the characters and the process and all that stuff," she said.
