KCON 2017 is set to jumpstart its five-region music festival in Mexico that will feature several musicians such as BTS, EXID, Red Velvet and more.

The KCON 2017, an annual convention that promotes Kpop and other interesting facets of the South Korean culture to the world, will soon open its fifth global festival with a two-day event in Mexico. In an announcement released by the event's organizer, as obtained by Korea Herald, CJ E&M shared that Mexican fans can look forward to two days filled with meet-and-greet events, dance sessions, Korean food tasting activities and more.

The Mexican leg of the KCON 2017 will be held at the Mexico City Arena on March 17 and March 18, according to CJ E&M. The event's evening performances will feature some of Kpop's talented and famous artists with EXID, BTS and NCT 127 headlining the first-day music event, while Red Velvet, Astro and Monsta X will handle the second-day concert.

After Mexico, KCON 2017 will head over to Japan's Makuhari Messe for a three-day event. Located in Chiba, the said Kpop and Hallyu festival will run from May 19 until May 21.

American fans can look forward to seeing some of their favorite South Korean artists with two events. The U.S. leg of KCON 2017 will be held at New Jersey's Prudential Center on June 23 until June 24 and a three-day run beginning Aug. 18 until Aug. 20 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Meanwhile, the final leg of the global Kpop and Hallyu celebration will be held in Australia although details of the said event have yet to be revealed.
