Freeform has announced the official summer schedule including the midseason premiere date for "Shadowhunters."
"Shadowhunters" Season 2, episode 11 will air on Monday, June 5.

When the show returns in June, the second part explores the growing tensions between the Downworlders and the Shadowhunters at the New York Institute. According to TV Guide, a new Shadowhunter named Sebastian, portrayed by Will Tudor, will be introduced.
Catherine McNamara spoke with TVLine and revealed that after the "intense... emotional, gut-wrenching" cliffhanger, fans will be left eagerly waiting for "Shadowhunters" Season 2B. "What, did you think we were going to tie things up in a nice little bow?" McNamara said.
McNamara and Dominic Sherwood spoke with Hollywood Life about the grandness of "Shadowhunters" Season 2, episode 10 winter finale.
"I remember shooting Episode 10, and I read the script and thought 'how are we even going to do this in the time that we have?' I give huge credit to our crew and everyone in the production, our show runners and producing director Matt Hastings and also the director of the episode Josh Butler, who really came in and got things done and pulled it out. It's crazy!" We can't wait to see it!" McNamara said.
