The said rating is 2.3 percentage points higher than the show's previous episode.

Across the Seoul metropolitan area, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" episode 4 also reached viewership shares of 8.6 percent. If compared to the JTBC drama's episode 3, TV ratings for the show's latest episode rose 1.6 percentage points.

The rise in viewership shares can be attributed to the amazing onscreen chemistry between lead stars Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young, who portray Min Hyuk and Bong Soon, respectively. "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" episode 4 featured several cute moments between the said characters, as well as Min Hyuk's growing affection for his pint-sized Herculean bodyguard.

Apart from the JTBC's drama's romance plot, the series also boasts of several laugh-out scenes including elements of suspense and thriller. In a recent interview, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" producer Song Won Seob highlighted the drama's comedic qualities that helped to draw the viewers' interest to Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young's series.

The JTBC drama's showrunner also commented on the show's underlying message about negative impressions that society might have towards a woman's abilities and skills, OSEN quoted Song Won Seob as saying. Given the titular heroine's immense strength, as well as her quest to find her true purpose and the right place for her to exhibit her skills, many young viewers will empathize with Bong Soon, according to the producer.
