The CONEXPO-CON/AGG Tech Innovations Are Now The Biggest Congregation In Las Vegas
The CONEXPO-CON/AGG which will be held from Tuesday to Saturday at the Las Vegas Convention Center will feature around 2,500 exhibitors from every corner of the construction industry. The convention is held every three years and represents different segments such as mining, concrete, lifting, aggregates, asphalt and utilities.
63 percent of attendees are contractors while the next biggest group is composed of distributors and equipment dealers which make up around 17 percent. A quarter of the participants are foreigners from 150 countries. The setting up of the CONEXPO-CON/AGG is considered to be a huge technological undertaking according to the Review Journal.
Around 475,000 square feet of outdoor space is needed for the entire convention. The whole event will cover 2,500,000 square feet which is the size of 43 football fields wrapped around the convention center. It will take 33 cranes and 330 forklifts to set up the whole CONEXPO-CON/AGG in a span of 45 days.
One of the participants on the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 is the global leading construction machinery manufacturer XCMG which will feature the latest technology along with the company's 14 signature products as reported in Yahoo Finance. Their whole product lineup is an exclusive release to the North American market and it guarantees excellent operation efficiency mixed with strong performance.
Wang Min, the chairman of XCMG said in an interview that the company officially launched its US program in 2012 which focused on investing in material resources along with talent to create specific products for the US market. The company's US engineers are now developing next-generation machinery equipment which will be featured at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG.
One of the products to be featured at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG is the XC949 wheel loader that has a fully automatic hydrodynamic transmission. It can enable the construction vehicle to adapt to different environments and can also reduce the shift shock. Other companies like Komatsu, Caterpillar and Liebheer will also display their various equipments such as cranes, excavators and cement-mixer trucks.
