The renowned singer-songwriters turned up a "really weird night" in Japan where Ed Sheeran ended up with a golf club in his hand which he used to strike Justin Bieber in the face. The English singer-songwriter looked back fondly at that wild evening when he chugged down some booze maybe a bit more than he should have. Plastered, Sheeran almost smashed Bieber's jaw in pieces.

Ed Sheeran recounted the incident during a recent interview with The Guardian. He and Bieber were both in Japan one time and decided to hit a drive bar where Bieber "just drank water" while he "got hammered." They next hit up a golf course where the "Sorry" singer laid down on the floor with a golf ball in his mouth and told Sheeran to hit the ball off him. The plastered Sheeran claimed he aimed at the ball but missed. "I'd cracked Justin Bieber right in the cheek with a golf club. That was one of those 'What the fuck?' moments," said the "Thinking Out Loud" crooner.

According to The Sun, Ed Sheeran also did something more with Justin Bieber in Japan. He called it "a really weird night" and talked about hitting a Tokyo bar named Train Bar and then going to a karaoke bar they sang each other's songs before finally doing a duet of "Love Yourself."

The 26-year-old hitmaker revealed in an interview with Carson Daly on 97.1 AMP Radio two months ago that he penned the lyrics of the song "Love Yourself" with another artist in mind. Sheeran said it "just wouldn't have made it" in his comeback album "Divide." "Love Yourself" landed on Bieber's 2015 "Purpose" album instead, became Billboard's # 1 song of 2016 and earned a GRAMMYS nomination for Song of the Year. Belieber fans and many celebrity friends tweeted their love for The Biebs who turned 23 Wednesday.
