Pop star Justin Bieber just celebrated his 23rd birthday Wednesday. The "Love Yourself" singer-songwriter shared his profound birthday wish now that he's officially a year older. The Canadian sensation who's been rocking the world since he was 13 revealed just what else he could possibly ask for.

The singer showed a mature side on his birthday as he took to Instagram and shared a photo of his young self, smiling directly at the camera while playing with bubbles. He captioned the photo, "It's my birthday and all I want is to be a better friend, better brother, better son and better man." Many of his fans and celebrity friends also took to Twitter to send wishes for the birthday boy. Some of those who tweeted their birthday greetings include his mentor and fellow artist Usher, manager Scooter Braun, radio-TV host Ryan Seacrest and fellow artists Akon, LL Cool J, DJ Snake, Diplo, Martin Garrix. Justin Bieber's mom Pattie Mallette tweeted her love as she posted the lyrics of "Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch.

A source told HollywoodLife.com Tuesday that Justin Bieber would want to party hard for his birthday. "This is basically his last week of freedom before he goes back on tour and since he can get anything he would ever want materialistically he wants to celebrate his birthday with a big party that lasts a few days," said the insider. The source added that Bieber "wants to make something go down that would be bigger than Floyd Mayweather's recent 40th bash" and that it would be "celebrity-heavy" and even hinted at "having a couple women."

Justin Bieber stepped out with a male friend on what seemed to be a pre-birthday hike in Studio City, California Tuesday. He then revealed through Instagram that he's "making beats" in his studio a few hours before he turned 23. DJ Khaled also posted photos with Bieber that led to speculations of a collaboration. A Us Weekly source reported that the pop star hopped on a private jet for a getaway on his birthday.
