Park Seo-Joon Returns With New Projects; Standoff In Final 'Hwarang' Episode With Park Hyung Sik
Park Seo-Joon seems to be busy with several projects these days. This means that the "Hwarang" star's fans can expect to see more of their idol more often. In fact, despite having completed the KBS 2TV drama, the Korean star is reported to be back with a new project.
In "Hwarang," Seo-Joon was charismatic, but a soft character, leading the drama well with a balance of action and mellow, although the show was a historical drama. Reports also suggest that the TV idol was also part of the drama's OST.
Park Seo-Joon may be done with the drama, yet he is expected to return with a new drama series titled "Ssam, My Way" in May. According to reports, the drama is about a man and a woman, who become the leading characters of their lives, and Park Seo-Joon will play the role of a former Taekwondo athlete and now an office worker named Ko Dong-man. Interestingly, he plans to be part of another drama this year, and rumors claim that this will likely happen.
As of now, Park Seo-Joon is almost done with his scenes in the movie "Young Cop," which is set to release in the later part of 2017. Meantime, he was recently chosen as the Best Male Model in Asia by Tommy Hilfiger, Hancinema reported.
Park Seo-Joon's character, as well as Park Hyung Silk's, meanwhile, have been highly anticipated by the viewers to have a final confrontation in the last episode of "Hwarang" set on Feb. 21. Reports claim that the long time viewers were interested, especially after how episode 19 concluded.
It should be noted that during the given episode, Sam Maek Jong raised his sword against Sun Woo, asking if he wants to sit on the throne, which Sun Woo answered with "Do you think I am the person to sit on that seat?" However, amidst the standoff, the drama released stills that further show developments in Sam Maek Jong and Sun Woo's tense interaction, Soompi reported.
