Artist Jay Park may be on something really big as rumor has it that he's just signed on as the new artist for none other than hip-hop mogul Jay-Z's management label Roc Nation. If the rumor happens to be true, the former 2PM member will be joining global artists Rihanna, Shakira, Fat Joe, Future, DJ Khaled, Wale, Meek Mill and much more under the same company. American musician Jay-Z founded Roc Nation in 2008.

Jay Park has been hinting at making big steps in his career recently. He mentioned during The Glow Up podcast Episode 13 that "some big stuff is about to happen, if everything goes well, I think you might know if you've seen my SNS" and even added that "there's a huge company that hit me up." The 29-year-old former JYP artist also revealed he's in the US for "some business" after a fan asked him during a recent IG LIVE what he's currently up to. Fans easily made the connection as Jay Park filled his Instagram posts with meetings with Roc Nation artists.

He collaborated last year with Roc Nation's Fat Joe as well as Remy Ma in the Asian remix of the Grammy-nominated rap song "All The Way Up." If the hints weren't clear enough, his friends Dok2 and Ben Baller just cleared off any remaining doubts. The duo stated during IG LIVE, "Did you hear that Jay [Park] signed with ROC [Nation]?"

The "I Don't Disappoint" singer looks like he's off to a great start this year. Rumors of an impending official U.S. debut with Jay-Z's Roc Nation came just on the heels of his big win at the first Korean Hip Hop Awards for Artist of the Year and R&B Album of the Year. Jay Park also recorded a song with former 2NE1 member Minzy. The former JYP idol has come a long way.
