2PM's recent concert ended prematurely when band member Jun.K accidentally fell from the stage. After the Kpop idol was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, JYP Entertainment issued a statement to apologize for the incident.

2PM band member Jun.K was involved in a scary stage accident during the Kpop group's "6Nights" concert. Held on Feb. 26, Sunday, the said performance marked the third day of the band's latest concert series in Seoul.

However, the event was abruptly stopped when Jun.K fell from a platform while getting ready for his "Hands Up" performance. The said platform was part of the stage's movable sections that would typically bring Kpop artists closer to the audience or further enhance the show's performance level.

Several reports highlighted how the 2PM band member was not advised of the platform's movement. It appears that the production's staff did not inform Jun.K when they activated the moving platform with the singer standing on of it that resulted in his fall.

Recently, JYP Entertainment issued a statement, as obtained by Soompi, that provided fans with an update on the Kpop idol's health after the stage accident. The singer suffered fractures on his right elbow and the fourth digit of his right hand and is under medical observation, according to 2PM's agency.

The South Korean entertainment firm also conveyed its apologies to the band members, the fans and the concertgoers over the incident. JYP Entertainment stated that they were sorry for having failed to keep their Kpop artists safe during the concert.

In happier news, 2PM was an awardee during the recently held Japan Gold Disc Awards. The Kpop band was honored with one of the three Best Album awards for their 2016 album "Galaxy of 2PM," according to All Kpop. Other South Korean acts who received the same honor included BTS and Big Bang with the albums "Youth" and "Made Series," respectively.

2PM's "6Nights" concert series is set to end with a final set of weekend performances from March 3 until March 5. At this time, it is unclear if the said concerts will be rescheduled or if it will push without the injured Jun.K.
