Tokyo Ghoul Season 3

Millions of fans are now excited for the upcoming release of the "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3. However, new reports are claiming that the third installment is not happening anymore and it could possibly be replaced by a movie instead.

YIBADA shared that the "Tokyo Ghoul" Reedit community has been pessimistic about the much-anticipated "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3. According to the news outlet, some members of Reddit suggest that the supposed third installment might not even happen in the near future.

"No confirmation of a third season so far (if there is going to be one it will likely be announced in the next few days, but I'm doubtful it will happen at all given the relatively poor reception towards the anime and how much it deviated from the manga)," user SupaMika has shared in the Reeddit page exclusively made for the "Tokyo Ghoul" anime series. True enough, Studio Pierrot has remained tightlipped on the details about the "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3, which is causing fans to speculate that it might be cancelled already.

As "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 cancellation rumors start to make rounds, there are also some avid fans who think that a movie would be made as replacement for the third installment. Sources have stated that having another "Tokyo Ghoul" movie is a very nice way to treat fans should the cancellation of the third season be confirmed.

Despite this, there are still a few who believe that "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 is totally happening - by hook or by crook. As a matter of fact, Korea Portal has previously reported that the life of Ken Kaneki could possibly be the focus of the third installment, which could also feature a new character named Touka Kirishima.

There have been speculations that Ken Kaneki and Touka Koroshima will not have a good relationship at the start of "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3. However, the two are predicted to develop a much deeper relationship later on.

No official details about the "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 have been released until now. Stay tuned to Korea Portal for the latest news and updates about the "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3!
