Actor Harrison Ford recently almost got into a plane crash accident upon landing a plane he was navigating. He almost had a run-in and crashed into another airline carrying over 100 passengers on its flight.

It has recently been reported that while 74-year-old actor Harrison Ford was expected to land his single-engine plane on a runway at John Wayne Airport, he instead mistakenly landed it on a taxiway. This runway was parallel to his expected runway of landing, but due to mistakenly landing on a different runway, he passed over an American Airlines that was preparing to take off as well. The American Airlines Flight 1456 on standby that Ford passed through was carrying 110 passengers in it. Nevertheless, it successfully departed a few minutes later.

In the dispatch recording, Ford was heard asking the air traffic controllers "Was that airline meant to be underneath me?" It has been clear that he made a mistake on the runway that he intended to land on. However, when asked for a statement, Fords publicist declined to comment on the issue. Nevertheless, according to the Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor, he cannot confirm that Ford was actually the one navigating it but whoever the pilot was, he has received and acknowledged the proper landing instructions.

There have been no reports on how high or low the plane was when it passed over the American Airlines on standby. Rest assured, the FAA is conducting an investigation on the matter. This hasn't been the first time that the actor was involved in an almost plane crash as he already had back in 2015 and 1999. For his most recent accident two years ago, he got seriously injure though after the plane crashed on a Los Angeles golf course. In spite of this, he still possesses a good and long record as an aviator, to which he started doing when he was in his 50s; plus he also earns several aircraft.
