Singer-actress Min Hyo Rin was recently seen in public for the first time since announcing her decision to leave JYP Entertainment.

The 31-year-old former JYP artist made her first public appearance less than a week after she decided not to renew her expiring contract with JYP.

According to Koreaboo, Min Hyo Rin was spotted at Incheon International Airport wearing a pastel blue coat and jeans with dark sunglasses and a green tote bag. The artist was photographed smiling as she was headed for her flight to New York where she's scheduled to appear at the 2017 Fall/Winter fashion collection.

It was only a few days ago when it was revealed that Min Hyo Rin will no longer renew her contract with JYP when it expires in March. According to all K-pop, the artist and the company both considered the matter several times and amicably agreed to part ways.

The model-artist made a guest appearance last year on MBC's "Radio Star" where she joked that she can't be a singer like she wanted to because of Suzy.

"I debuted as a ballad singer nine years ago," said Min Hyo Rin about how she eventually became an actress, according to all K-pop. "At the time, there weren't a lot of people active as both a singer and actor. I didn't do well as a singer, so the agency asked me if I wanted to try acting properly."

She laughed as she added, "I still have the [desire to be a singer]. I want to be a singer, but it can't happen unless it is profitable [or advantageous] for Suzy, right?"

Min Hyo Rin has been in a relationship with YG artist Taeyang since 2013 so netizens are speculating that she could be moving to YG Entertainment next.

She was part of KBS' reality show "Sister's Slam Dunk" last year.
