Wonder Girls’ contract with their current label, JYP Entertainment, will end this January.

Wonder Girls capped off the end of a ten-year career in the South Korean entertainment industry with the release of the single "Draw Me." Recently, the K-pop group's farewell track nabbed the top spot on several music charts.

The Kpop girl group's new song "Draw Me" topped six South Korean music charts shortly after its debut. Released on Feb. 10, Friday, Wonder Girls' farewell song took the number spot on charts such as Mnet, Naver Music, Genie, Olleh Music and others, according to Yonhap News.

Described as a mellow track, "Draw Me" is a poignant love song about remembering good times and treasuring memories. Apart from the harmonious blending of the K-pop group's voices, the song also contains a short rap portion.

Meanwhile, Wonder Girls debuted in the South Korean music scene in 2007. Best known for the global hit "Nobody," the girl group also explored a Hollywood music career but failed to find a niche in the Western market.

In other news, JYP Entertainment's head Park Jin Young recently shared his thoughts on the group's disbandment. Park took to Instagram to convey his appreciation for the four singers and wished them well on their new endeavors.

Members of said Kpop group also took to social media to thank their fans for their support, Korea Herald reported. Hyerim, Sunmi, Yubin, and Yeeun expressed their gratitude, as well as sadness at having to say goodbye to their fans.

The four-member group's decision to disband was announced in late-January by Wonder Girls' agency, JYP Entertainment. At this time, it is unclear if the members of the iconic girl group will each embark on a solo career although Yeeun and Sunmi already left JYP Entertainment, while Yubin and Hyerim renewed their contract with the said agency.
