NBA Trade Rumors: LeBron James Pushing The Melo-Love Trade; James Calls The Rumored Melo-Trade A Trash

The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is reportedly pushing the Cavs front office to trade Kevin Love for Carmelo Anthony. This a new demand rumored that came out from the NBA superstar LeBron James.

A report from the Bleacher Report said that LeBron James is demanding his team to push the trade that will send Kevin Love to the Knicks in exchange for his long time friend Carmelo Anthony. James was accused of the rumor that he wants to push the Love-Melo trade due to his statement recently that they may want to acquire Anthony, but not in the expense of Kevin Love.

LeBron James quickly responded to the rumor, as he calls the news a "trash" about him involving in the Love-Melo trade. James answered a couple of questions about the rumored trade between his friend and his current teammate after their game against the Washington Wizards last Monday as per The Forbes report.

On the other hand, Kevin Love was also asked about his thoughts on the rumored statement made by LeBron James. Love said that everything is a lie about the news, citing that he expects to be a member of the Cavaliers for a long time.

The Cavaliers are known to have some issues on their current lineup as their superstar LeBron James said in the front office. The team is currently holding a tryout for the point guard position as well as a workout with a Larry Sanders has been started as well last week.

As per several analysts and basketball critics said, Carmelo Anthony won't solve any issues of the Cavaliers even if they acquire him. Instead, if Melo would join the Cavaliers, the team will be giving up another good defender and a rebounder.

Kevin Love can definitely provide the scoring numbers that Melo could give, but Anthony cannot give the defense that Kevin Love possessed. This trade rumor seemed not to be going anytime this season, the Knicks will need to find the right trade partner for Anthony for the Cavaliers won't be taking the risk.
