Kim Tae Hee, Rain Prepare For Married Life, Embarks On Shopping Trip For New Home

South Korea's newest married couple Rain and Kim Tae Hee are adjusting to their new life together and is set to move into their new home soon. Recently, the two celebrities were seen shopping at Gangnam for items to put into their own house.

Rain and Kim surprised many fans, as well as some of their friends when the couple announced their engagement in January and tied the knot in a simple wedding ceremony several days after. Held at a Catholic church in Seoul, the private event was attended by the two stars' family and close friends.

Several weeks after the intimate wedding, the South Korean couple is busy trying to complete the furnishings for their new home. Living temporarily with Rain's father, the new husband and wife might be moving out of the said residence in the coming weeks. Rain and Kim even recently went on a Gangnam shopping trip to look for furniture pieces and new appliances for their own house, according to All Kpop.

At this time, the location of the couple's new home, as well as target moving timelines, have yet to be unveiled. However, it appears that the newlyweds are in no rush to change their current house arrangements until their new home is complete.

In other news, Kim revealed why they decided to keep their engagement and wedding a secret from their fans, the media and even some of their friends. In a recent interview, the "Yong Pal" actress explained that they decided to forego having a fancy wedding given South Korea's challenging economic situation, Soompi reported.

Kim added, "We thought about the circumstances at the time ... We felt sorry we couldn't invite many people. We hope that they understand our choice and intention."

Rain and Kim were wed in a private ceremony on Jan. 19, Thursday.
